Staff Welfare

By Grace Synergy (Social Welfare) was started in year 2015 with a vision to cater for all By Grace Farm Feeds staff’s welfare. The scheme is operated by the Human resource department in affiliation with a few elected members who belong to the same group. The welfare has been making concerted efforts to provide welfare programmes to the staffs and its main purpose is to cater for social and economic needs of the staffs. The welfare has rule and regulations which governs it’s running and moreover a constitution which spells outs the do’s and don’ts for every member before and after committing him/herself to the welfare.

Community Projects

By Grace Farm Feeds, through its Directors, is involved in very active socioeconomic activities within Misuuni Village, Kathiani District within Machakos County. The otherwise predominantly dry area is slowly but sure turning into an oasis farmland courtesy of the firm directors’ initiative.

The Directors of By Grace are interested in development projects within Machakos County. Mr. Mailanga is in the frontline of Machakos County investment initiative under the able Governor of Machakos County.

By Grace Farm Feeds is one of the local companies which have been allocated a slot in the development plan of the county, where it will develop animal feeds manufacturing plant.

Some of the ongoing projects include:

Establishment of Greenhouse in Misuuni Area.

  • Farmers Training.
  • Sinking of Boreholes.
  • Jesus Campaign.

Establishment of Greenhouse in Misuuni Area

The Ground Breaking Ceremony for The Project For the Youth Empowerment Through the Establishment of Greenhouse in Misuuni Area which had its Grant Contract signed on 26th January 2015.The projected establishment of four greenhouses in the area will also include installation of a drip irrigation system, construction of a water tower, an office and two toilets, installation of a solar power panel, electric generator, water distribution piping system and four water tanks

Farmers Training

We have initiated a showcase farm where farmers from the area come for training. The farm is complete with dairy and poultry rearing, crop husbandry under drip irrigation.The families in the area have benefitted with water from boreholes sunk by the Japanese Embassy through the initiative of By Grace Farm Feeds directors.

A successful farming scheme, under greenhouses has been initiated taking advantage of the availability of the water from the boreholes. From the Japanese Embassy, a total of Kshs. 14 million was granted and the handing over of the funds witnessed in a groundbreaking ceremony held on 4th March 2015.

Sinking of Boreholes

Frontiers Without Boundaries of USA have completed a development feasibility study and allocated funds to sink seven boreholes, expand and conserve a water bond and support greenhouse farming activities.  It is through these development initiatives that Patrick Mailanga, the Managing Director of By Grace Farm Feeds has been appointed the Patron for development projects within the district.

Jesus Campaign

One of the most significant contributions undertaken by the directors of By Grace Farm Feeds is the ‘JESUS IS LORD CAMPAIGN’. Using their Buses and resources, under the able leadership of  Bishop Dr Gideon Mbithi of Deliverance Churches within Machakos region to reach many souls in almost all the parts  of Kenya.

The campaign has empowered and opened many remote areas and brought to light a number of Churches which are now vibrant. Many churches have benefitted by way of receiving sound equipment, support in construction of church buildings, sponsorship to access education and supporting of the disadvantaged children in the community. The JESUS CAMPAIGN has now crossed borders and the Servants of God are reaching out to Germany and other countries. The Directors of the firm play an integral role in the movement.

Our projects are spread across Machakos, Makueni, Kitui, Mwingi and the larger lower Eastern region.
